Miami is generally known for three things: Ultra Music Festival, the Miami Heat and well, the Miami heat. But while the coastal city’s sauna-inspired climate can be a bit polarizing for much of the year, by the same stroke of its pen, it doubles as a sweet-spot winter festival destination once the temperature’s on the downward slide.
Enter Heart, a fresh face to the festival circuit that’s bringing its own brand of high-temperature intensity, with 63 techno, house and live electronic performances spread over a two-day tenure at the trendy Wynwood Factory, just a few miles from the heart of town. Much like the since-closed nightclub of the same name of which the soiree’s organizers derive, Heart Festival has the chops to pack a memorable lineup with a punch. Highlights include the fabled Sasha & John Digweed, Damian Lazarus, The Martinez Brothers, and Artbat—just to name a few.
Heart Festival is scheduled to pump December 6-7 during Art Basel 2019, a city-wide celebration of international multimedia and arts. Two-day passes are on sale now, here.
