Moonee returns with ‘Brotherhood’

French electronic music producer François Lefevre, known professionally as Moonee, returns to Last Year in Marienbad with the ‘Brotherhood’ EP.

It opens with a Glitched version of the title track, weaving garage-influenced rhythms with ethereal vocal samples and deep, resonant basslines. ‘Existenz’ follows, raising the energy through its four-on-the-floor beat and rich, orchestral textures that create an expansive sonic atmosphere.

‘Panorama,’ the release’s emotional centerpiece, pairs bouncing vocal elements with an infectious bassline, capturing both daytime optimism and nocturnal energy. The release concludes with Oath affiliate Moomin’s remix of ‘Brotherhood,’ transforming the original into a sophisticated electro journey.

Moonee, an established deep house figure, continues evolving with each musicaloffering. Following his ‘Sandquest’ album on Oath, this new EP demonstrates his ability to craft music that engages both mind and dancefloor.
