Naughty club destination Revolver launches a record label!
Melbourne club Revolver has it’s share of Australian fans, so with announce of a record label, we’re certainly all ears!
The label, dubbed ‘Revolver Upstairs Records’ seems like a natural culmination of housing some of the rowdiest parties and also guests over the years and now an opportunity for punters to take the tunes home.
With that in mind they’ve started releasing a slew of singles and EPs from local favourites as well as a bootleg series dubbed ‘Community Transmission’. What to expect? A fat line up of chugging and groovy cuts of house, acid and techno that’ll mean the party can continue any and all the time.
Understandbly with the closure of Revolver during COVID-19 restrictions the clubs looking to get the word out about the label as a way to support the venue and its residents. So to slug your support behind them head to their Bandcamp for a full discography of releases to date.
For now, dive into the latest, ultra spicy EP on the label from Revolver stalwarts Flip3k and Jimmy le Mac who have come together under the Common Underground alias. Woo-ee!
