New Swedish House Mafia is on its way—watch the trio drop new ID in Stockholm

Following months of speculation, bread crumb announcements, and extreme anticipation among the global dance community, Swedish House Mafia finally kicked off their official reunion in their breeding grounds of Stockholm. They played to a sold-out stadium, with some superfans even filming the whole performance, in addition to unveiling a brand new photographic exhibit to coincide with the tour kick-off.

The trio naturally played an array of classics that guests had been yearning to hear since they disbanded in 2013. Beyond that, however, they subtly announced their return to the studio as well with a few choice IDs sprinkled in. “Underneath It All” is one of the working titles that surfaced following the performance, which was thankfully caught on video by a different audience member. True to form, the ID is the epitome of the euphoric, big room house sound that Swedish House Mafia more-or-less shaped and pioneered when first breaking out in the late aughts and early 2010s. It’s filled with touching vocals, saw synths, and sweeping progressions that make for proper “hands in the air” moments.

Keep close watch on this iconic outfit as more information is inevitably unveiled.
