Nostalgix Drops “Don’t Keep Me Waiting” (ft. Mila Falls) via Dim Mak

As a versatile artist, producer, writer, and rapper, Nostalgix infuses her distinctive sound with spunky charm and a 90s edge, characterized by thunderous basslines and electrifying beats. Following her debut Dim Mak single “Look At Me,” which came out earlier this year, Nostalgix’s second coming “Don’t Keep Me Waiting” is the start of more emotionally-charged, powerful tunes from the unstoppable artist. For this one she has teamed up Mila Falls who is fresh off the back of playing Glastonbury 2024.
“Don’t Keep Me Waiting” is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made. It’s the most emotional and raw record I’ve written and produced. It shows a different, and more vulnerable side of me as an artist which I’ve been dying to show. I wrote this song during a time when I was going through a lot of hardship and challenges in my life. I needed to find the will and strength to push forward to break my own limitations.
I was in Toronto at the time doing a session, and the initial idea of the song came together so quickly. It felt as if the story had to be told. After that, I spent nearly a year working on the record all around the world while on tour. I’ve been a big fan of Mila Falls and knew she would be the perfect artist to tell this story. Working with her on the record was so special, she’s such an amazing person and musician. I feel like she really brought a whole new light to the song.” – Nostalgix
