ODESZA Teases New Album With Otherworldly New Track “Wide Awake (feat. Charlie Houston)”
ODESZA’s next album, The Last Goodbye, is quickly approaching, and they’ve just released the newest single from the project, “Wide Awake” with Charlie Houston. Following up four previous singles, “Wide Awake” feels like a more restful moment in the album, toward the center following some more high octane and powerful tracks.
Of the song, ODESZA comments, “What we like about ‘Wide Awake’ is it feels like it encapsulates a lot of things we enjoy in one track: lots of percussive elements wrapped in emotive chords, with swirling distorted synths and leads, all centered around Charlie’s incredible vocal. It’s one of our favorites from the record and something we come back to a lot.”
