Outside Lands’ 2019 lineup features Childish Gambino, Flume, Kygo, Flying Lotus, and more
In line with a lengthy track record of top-notch annual programming, Outside Lands‘ 2019 lineup is a mixed bag of musical talent that offers something for all types of music lover. The San Francisco affair’s collection of headliners is rife with artists who are in the midst of career hot streaks. Recent multiple Grammy Award-winning artist Kacey Musgraves tops the lineup with Anderson .Paak, Childish Gambino, and Flume. Attendees can presumably expect Flume to use his Outside Lands slot as a launchpad for new music, given his release of mixtape, Hi, This is Flume, and his ensuing announcement that more fresh material would soon follow. Paul Simon, Twenty One Pilots, The Lumineers, Blink-182, Kygo, Leon Bridges, and Lil Wayne round out the remaining headliners.
Outside Lands’ 2019 lineup represents the electronic genre in its broad scope as well. RL Grime, San Holo, Big Wild, DJ Koze, Justin Martin, Shallou, and Bob Moses appear among the many producers tapped to perform at the festival. Moreover, DJ Koze, Bay Area-natives Luttrell and Justin Martin, and Flying Lotus‘ lauded 3D show all appear on this year’s billing too. Outside Lands will descend upon San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park from August 9-11. GA and VIP passes to the event will go on-sale on March 28 at 10 AM PT, and can be purchased, here.
