Pacha opens its Ibiza season with Marco Carola and ANOTR

Two nights of excitement at the iconic venue.

Pacha Ibiza just opened its doors for the Summer with a two-night celebration kicking off on April 26th with  Italian techno icon Marco Carola, and on the 28th with fast-rising  Dutch house duo ANOTR.

As expected the energy was high on the opening weekend of one of Ibiza’s most acclaimed clubs. Originally founded in 1973, the two-cherry brand was about to start another busy season and its dancefloor was ready to receive hundreds of clubbers from all around the world.

On  Friday,  Ale de Tuglie and Calvin Clarke went on a 3-hour animated back-to-back set to open the club’s doors. Then it was time for Marco Carola to take the decks. As usual, the Music On boss developed his techno and house cutting-edge sounds in an extended session that kept the house full till the early hours of the morning.

On Sunday, was ANOTR’s turn, formed by Oguzhan Guney and Jesse van der Heijden and owners of the No Art brand, the duo has been making big waves worldwide.  Their hits ‘Relax My Eyes,’ and recently ‘How You Feel’  have made them people’s favorites selling out their first night at Pacha. With their high-energy mood, the evening ran smoothly with a packed dancefloor that danced with their feel-good beats all night long.  South African talent Desiree, known for her mix of deep house, techno, and soulful tracks with an African influence opened the night for them in a distinguished way.

Looking forward, this season for Pacha looks with a very busy calendar including special upcoming performances by various artists such as Ben Böhmer,  Adriatique, Dixon, and the different weekly residencies led by Bedouin, Camelphat, and more.  So if you are visiting Ibiza soon be sure to check it out for a special night of electronic music among the island’s epical vibe.
