Paul van Dyk is one who has survived humongous tragedy, and he credits his perseverance not just to those close to him, but also music. It’s only fitting that he would select Music Rescues Me as his ninth studio album’s title, right as he’s coming back into the finest form he’s been in in quite some time. Set for a release in fall 2018, the LP follows up 2017’s From Then On.

Not much is known at this time around its details, but Music Rescues Me seems to be a momentous release in Paul’s eyes. The proof is in the Printworks — the London warehouse venue has booked him as its very first trance artist. His performance will be in support of the new album, and is set to be a testament of trance’s return to credibility as a genre.

Of Music Rescues Me, van Dyk told the press it’s, “an album deeply rooted in story-telling, mystery and adventure. It’s an exploration of trance, a journey through the breadth and depth of a genre that continues to enthrall me as an artist.” The finish product will be expressive as ever, we’re sure.
