Porter Robinson will replace Martin Garrix at Ultra Korea
Ultra Korea attendees guests have been given an excellent replacement for Martin Garrix‘ recent cancellation in Porter Robinson. The icon between hits like Language, “Shelter” with Madeon, and brand-new Said The Sky festival will be playing a double header at the event, keeping his Virtual Self slot as well as his new set at the main stage under his prime moniker. Garrix had been forced to back out of the event on account of an ankle injury acquired during a Vegas performance that needed surgery.
Porter’s surprise announcement is the latest in a flurry of news surrounding the artist. He recently confirmed to his fans that new music was under way, and also that he’d be opening his own festival to encourage earlier arrivals and music discovery. Second Sky takes place June 15 in Oakland.
since @martingarrix won’t be able to play at ULTRA KOREA, i’m going to fill in for him with a Porter Robinson DJ set.
… and because I was already on the lineup with my sideproject VIRTUAL SELF, that means I’ll be playing two completely different sets in a row on the mainstage!
