Premiere: Grand Larsonie Takes Listeners On A Spectacular Trip In New Acid House Track “Transporting”
Baltimore, Maryland-based independent electronic artist/keyboardist Grand Larsonie is releasing his latest creation, the experimental underground electronic track “Transporting.” As its title suggests, this production is a transportative soundscape merging acid house and Baltimore club.
Using a wide spectrum of alternative electronic styles and soaking them in modern influences, Grand Larsonie’s music is spiritually-charged and showcases his strong penchant for mantra-like, cyclical electronic compositions that distill serenity, wisdom, and produce moving listening experiences.
He launched his career with the single, “River Of Reflection” in 2020, and has since released two full-albums, Fata Morgana and Divinity.
He started playing classical piano in the 3rd grade. He then joined the metal band “This Side Of The Sky ” in 2010-2011. Over the years, he’s co-produced on several small projects, most notably “Iridescence” with co collaborator “Furred T”. His eclectic influences are as diverse as his sound, ranging from Ambient, Hip-Hop, House, to Rock and Jazz.
“Transporting” follows-up in style to his latest release, “Subdued Euphoria,” dropped a month ago.
A healer through sound, Grand Larsonie organically feels the music he creates, as it seems to be coming from a deeper place of self, where subtle sonic equilibriums are meticulously brought to life thanks to his detail-oriented approach. “Transporting” was written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Grand Larsonie himself.
Simultaneously tranquil and exciting, Grand Larsonie’s “Transporting” reveals a sonic design made of a blend of alternative, acid house, Baltimore club and experimental music, and displays the artist’s restless quest to create his very own aesthetics, instantly recognizable at first listen.
