Oregon’s own is back again with more retro-future bliss, “V.T.W.A. ft Laura Claire.”
Though the track was originally intended to be solely instrumental, the synth-loving producer was enraptured by Laura Claire’s effortless, breezy vocals and added them onto the final cut.
Claire’s voice weaves in and out, emerging and dissolving again into the song’s lty, -esque fabric. The synthwave serenity the track takes the listener on a lush, aerial ride through the producer’s lty atmospheric dreamscape.
“It was my goal to experiment and stay away from the cliches that I find in a lot synth-wave music,” he said.
“V.T.W.A,” comes just ahead his album “Unkown Frequency,” set for release March 2 his own label, .
The upcoming album will explore the producer’s deep affinity for vapory, kaleidoscopic synth-wave, as he tries to dodge some the pitfalls his predecessors.
