After reaching No 1 on the US Dance Radio charts, “On My Mind” received a truly absurd visualizer to accompany it. Now, the resounding number receives the remix treatment from one of the finest in the game.
Purple Disco Machine always brings the funk to his remixes. Whether he tackles a house gem like Weiss’ “Feel My Needs” or pop superstar Dua Lipa, his MO is typically to leave the song structure intact while adorning the track with funky disco flavor. His take on “On My Mind” largely continues this trend. The ubiquitous vocals from the original take center stage, while an extra-funky bass line holds the groove underneath piano runs and sharp guitar strums.
