R3HAB teams up with Andy Grammer on 'Good Example'
Cross-genre releases have been a fixture in mainstream electronic music for years, and it has helped the commercialization of the genre as a whole. These collaborations have heavily skewed pop, rap, and rock, but country music collaborations noticeably less common. The tides are slowly turning with country artists showing up more and more as featured artists on electronic music releases. R3HAB is the latest producer to enlist country-leaning singer and songwriter Andy Grammer for new single “Good Example.”
The song is about a conflict of being with your child, as a parent, or chasing one’s calling and spending time away. Grammer’s vocals are polarizing and lure the listener in immediately with the heartfelt lyrics.
