RL Grime gifts fans with free download of 'Take It Away'
Who doesn’t love a good gift? RL Grime has a sonic one in store for his followers with the release of his “Take It Away” instrumental for free download. The original version had notable appearances from Ty Dolla $ign and TK Kravitz; that said, the lack of vocals certainly doesn’t diminish the tune’s quality. RL Grime built a strong, bassy foundation beneath, which shines in its full glory with viscous arrangement, powerful drops, and hints of emotion lo-fi synth productions. One might even say that it’s vaguely reminiscent of Flume’s older work on its own. This is of course a subjective comparison, of course.
RL Grime has a busy season ahead, having just been announced for both HARD Summer and Austin City Limits. He also launched his Sable Valley imprint earlier in spring 2019. Regardless, the legend has still been giving his all to his fans, offering up another free instrumental one week prior to this new downloadable treat.
