Röyksopp announces new album ‘True Electric’, set for release on April 11th, 2025, via Dog Triumph Records, marking a new phase for the Norwegian electronic duo.

Leading the album’s release is a reimagining of their seminal track ‘What Else Is There,’ featuring a collaboration with Fever Ray. This fresh interpretation serves as an introduction to the album’s innovative sound palette.

Adding to the excitement, the duo has announced an ambitious North American DJ tour for spring 2025. This promises to showcase their command of electronic music, bringing their signature atmospheric soundscapes to venues across the continent.

In an exclusive statement, band members Svein and Torbjørn shed light on their creative vision: ‘True Electric’ consists of recordings and renditions, meant to capture the essence of our live shows bearing the same name. The idea was to put an emphasis on the clubbier aspects of our music, as well as returning to our roots within the realms of electronic music.”
