San Holo- Lost Lately
San Holo is here with his first standalone track of 2019, and the release could be the producer’s most honest offering to date. “Lost Lately” is a continuation of Holo’s mounting attempts to open up to fans, which came to a crest at his EDC Las Vegas performance after priming Twitter that the set would be his most “emotional set to date.”
The vocals of “Lost Lately” take the listener through the ebbs and flows of achieving success and ultimately feeling lost and pondering one’s purpose in life. Holo taps into heavily vocoded vocals for added texture, while blending melodic synths into the backdrop amidst a kicking beat.
“But then what happens when that fantasy you’ve always dreamed about suddenly becomes real?” Holo questioned in a recent press release tracing the inspiration for the track. “And you re-live that fantasy over and over every night? Getting used to this lifestyle made me feel kind of lost.”
“Lost Lately” is out San Holo’s own imprint, bitbird.
