Sendas Unveils ‘The Ocean’ Vol. 2

Featuring  Dulus, Nicolas Viana, Molac, Ilias Katelanos & Plecta, Lucas Zárate, and Federico Monachesi

Latin American label and collective Sendas has released its second various artists compilation, ‘The Ocean’, marking a significant evolution from its roots as a collective to a fully-fledged music label.

Following the success of ‘The City, Vol. 01’, this new installment focuses on original tracks, expanding Sendas’ vision beyond its Bandcamp remixes and edits. The compilation aims to transport listeners to fresh sonic landscapes while maintaining the label’s distinctive, dancefloor-ready sound.

‘The Ocean’ showcases works from some of the most promising names in the progressive and melodic house scene. Dulus opens the compilation with ‘Slowly’, a percussive and hypnotic track that draws listeners into an energetic trance. Next, Nicolás Viana presents ‘Vortex’, a melodic and progressive piece that encapsulates his signature groove.

Molac, who recently launched his own label, teams up with Greek duo Ilias Katelanos & Plecta to deliver a deep, multi-layered exploration of emotional and deep house terrains. Meanwhile, Lucas Zárate offers ‘Eden’, a track with dreamy, organic vibes that invites listeners into a sonic paradise. Closing the compilation, Argentine DJ and producer Federico Monachesi delivers a progressive, nostalgic, and emotional composition that aligns perfectly with his distinctive style.

With ‘The Ocean’, Sendas solidifies its identity as a label and sets the stage for the next chapter in its journey. In January 2024, the collective plans to release its first original single, initiating a phase that promises to broaden the label’s reach. Originally a space for internal releases, Sendas now stands as an open platform for both emerging and established talents looking to explore new ways of releasing music.
