Shambhala Festival Is Cancelled For The Second Time Due To The Pandemic

The 23-year-old annual music festival gets canceled for the second time due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic. The news came in a form of a lengthy Facebook post, which was dropped on Monday. The statement indicated that the concert will be pushed further to next year.

In times where several events are getting back to the old normal, it is obvious that the concert organizers do not want to be extra cautious by refusing to put the public in danger.

“It is with a heavy heart we must announce the postponement of this year’s edition of Shambhala Music Festival. We were prepared to go to great lengths to make this year’s festival a reality despite the many obstacles,” the statement reads.

Additionally, those who already purchased tickets for this year’s event will also have the chance to redeem them for the upcoming festivals in 2022, 2023, and even 2024. So you better keep an eye on your inbox,

Shambhala started with 500 attendees, and it quickly established its name in the international arena. In 2015, the event hosted 15,000 guests; who came from different places to hit the dance floor and enjoy the wonders that the event provides.
