Skrillex alludes to multiple albums nearing completion in update to fans

We’ve known Skrillex has been hard at work for some time—he’s been working on what we’ve believed to be one of the most anticipated albums of 2020. Now that looks like an underestimation.

Skrillex offered an update to fans on social media about his upcoming project in which he mentions, “starting final mixes on this first album.” It appears there may be multiple Skrillex albums in the works. Though, it is not outside the realm of possibility that the second project Skrillex may have up his sleeve could be an extended Dog Blood project, or even a previously alluded to Jack Ü reunion. What’s more, visuals for the album(s) are underway as well, though music video shoots have obviously been impacted by COVID-19 lockdowns.

However, in the wake of the quarantines, Skrillex intends to keep busy. The OWSLA head honcho expressed interest in participating in increasingly popular livestreams, hoping to monetize the effort to benefit those in need. Moreover, his Guerilla Tacos venture is providing taco making kits to those in LA.

Placing final touches on one album, with possibly more on the way, it looks like Skrillex is occupying his downtime creatively. Stay tuned for further updates.
