Skrillex delivers two show-stopping setlist weapons, "Fuji Opener" and "Mumbai Power" [Stream]

It seems Skrillex fans are perpetually at the edge of their sets for whatever the OWSLA don happens to be working on. The voracity by which his fans crave his music doesn’t seem like something that will ever be entirely satisfied per se, but moments like this are about as close as we’ll get to the feeling. Because now, Skrillex has dropped off two massive setlist weapons that have long bounced around the internet and are finally ready to see the light of day. Amid the opening of an exciting new chapter in Sonny Moore’s already legendary career, “Fuji Opener” and “Mumbai Power” are zested with the perfect dash of nostalgia, but they undoubtedly represent an older, wiser Skrillex.

The new Skrillex doubleheader, dubbed Show Tracks comes complete with an appearance from Alvin Risk with a sample of his 2013 OWSLA cut “Skyclad” on “Fuji Opener,” which fans will remember Skrillex used to open his performance at Japan’s Fuji Rock last summer. “Mumbai Power” features Beam, and while the new twofer from the Recess producers more than satisfy, something tells us this is just the tip of the iceberg from Skrillex this year. In other words, “Guess who’s back mthfkr–?!”
