SLUMBERJACK delivers catchy new single ‘Black & Blue’
SLUMBERJACK are back injecting some of their curious experiences into their latest EP and also lead single titled, ‘Black and Blue’.
The new music is their first since releasing the ‘Sarawak EP’ that notably featured ‘Solid’, a well-received banger they co-produced with the UK based Troyboi.
Their latest single ‘Black & Blue’ is created alongside Cory Enemy and features the comforting and familiar vocals of Mothica, who’s worked alongside MEMBA and others. The track is bubbly, percussive and fun. Mothica’s catchy verses and chorus ride between uptempo synths and powerful kicks. It has all the ingredients to be an inevitable crowd-pleaser.
On the EP, SLUMBERJACK said:
“The Black & Blue EP is the first real ‘LA’ record we’ve released – every song came from a unique experience in the city, whether it was through working with our friends as co-collaborators (‘Black & Blue’, ‘Crucified’, ‘Hades’) or just being inspired by the grittier, almost cyberpunk surrounds (‘NORF’).”
