Sofia Kourtesis Drops An EP Titled “Fresia Magdalena”

The Berlin-based Electronic/Dance artist, Sofia Kourtesis, has recently dropped

an epic EP titled “Fresia Magdalena.”

The newly released EP consists of five tracks, each full of unique and prolific musical senses. “Fresia Magdalena” is the follow-up project of Sofia’s groundbreaking EP “Sarita Colonia,” which was released in February 2020. 

The project is dear to Sofia since it talks about her home and family in Peru. As a matter of fact in “La Perla,” the artist talks about her dear father who died of leukemia. 

“‘La Perla’ is about staring at the sea, it’s the first thing I’ll do when I return to Peru,” the up-and-coming artist states. “My dad used to say staring at the sea is like meditation, it clears your head. This song is for him.”
