Creating stronger artist-fan interactions.

SoundCloud has introduced a new ‘Fan Recognition’ system that helps musicians connect with their most dedicated listeners. The feature enables artists to show appreciation for their loyal fans on the platform.

Through track pages, artists can now highlight their most engaged listeners, creating stronger artist-fan interactions. This streamlined approach simplifies building authentic connections between musicians and their audience.

The system offers two categories: ‘First Fans,’ who are recognized for their early support during a track’s first week of release, and ‘Top Fans,’ who earn recognition through consistent listening and interaction over time. This distinction allows artists to appreciate both early adopters and long-term supporters.

To qualify for these categories, fans must be 18 or older, have liked the track, followed the artist, and maintain a complete profile with a username, profile picture, and verified email address.
