TATE SEDAR & P$YCHEDELIC Release “Emotions”
TATE SEDAR and P$YCHEDELIC have reunited to deliver “Emotions,” a post-EDM track that has quickly become a hit. Released on May 24th, this collaboration features P$YCHEDELIC’s vocals, known for his verses on “CLICK” by Ghengar and the viral track “Ballin’.” The song, three years in the making, showcases TATE’s unique blend of analog and digital composition, creating a funk-inspired, bass house anthem that’s reminiscent of Noizu and Sage Armstrong. Premiered at EDC Las Vegas, “Emotions” has already gained traction with its playful lyrics, hyper-rolling bassline, and 808 drums, making it a standout track for the summer for many DJs and listeners worldwide.
The creation of “Emotions” traces back to 2021 when TATE began developing his post-EDM sound. Despite initially losing as a contest submission for EDC 2022, P$YCHEDELIC reignited the project’s potential, possessing shared enthusiasm and mutual musical influences that fueled the collaboration. Reconnecting at Beyond Wonderland 2024, they found common ground in their musical aspirations and “Emotions” captures the essence of their journey, blending personal trials with a hypnotic production that highlights their unique bond. This release underscores the power of artistic connections and the emotions that drive creativity, and it’s an amazing production between two vibrant artists in the space.
