Tensteps Talks About His Hobbies And Favorites Aside From Music
Tensteps is surely on its way to conquer new stages and dancefloors all over the world. His powerful sound and energetic style have already earned him the support of top names in the Electronic Dance music world like Armin Van Buuren and MaRLo.
With an upcoming tour supporting Andrew Rayel’s ‘Lifeline’ tour around the US, and several bangers in the pipelines, Tensteps is ready to reach new heights.
This time we talked to him and asked him a few questions to learn more about his life aside from music.
Hi there Tensteps! how are you?
Doing great, thanks!
Do you have any hobbies or would you like to try a new one?
I don’t get to it very often but I always have fun playing paintball. I’m trying to make it a point to do that more this year. You can also catch me playing Warzone a couple of nights a week.
Where’s your favorite spot to relax and reconnect with yourself?
For relaxation, absolutely nothing beats a good massage. I’ve been getting them regularly for years and they’re the most effective way I’ve found to unwind and de-stress.
Do you like sports? Is there a favorite team or athlete you follow?
I’ve never been a big sports guy, but if I had to pick a team, I’d have to say the Vegas Golden Knights for hockey.
Do you have a special routine, tradition or habit you follow or do before a live performance?
Check, re-check, and check again to make sure I have everything I need. I’m always terrified that I’ll forget my USBs or my headphones or something. I’m so forgetful, so if I’m not super careful I’ll end up regretting not checking a million times.
If you could meet someone for coffee, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
I feel like hanging out with Barack Obama would be pretty cool. No idea what we’d talk about though, haha.
Let’s say you start a new career, non-music related, what would you do?
I’d probably go into tech sales. I’ve always been a tech-savvy person, and I spent 10 years in sales so it would be a good fit for me. Way less fun than music though, nothing beats this.
What will surely always put you in a good mood no matter what?
I’m a big foodie, so a really amazing meal is always a good way to get me smiling. A perfectly cooked steak or super fresh sushi are two surefire ways to put me in a good mood.
Can you describe a perfect weekend?
Flying into a new city, having an incredible dinner at a new restaurant, playing an incredible show for a bunch of raving fans, sleep for a few hours, then get on a plane and do it all again.
Finally, which 3 items would you take with you to a desert island?
My phone, my laptop, and a good pair of studio monitors!
