Something aggressive today. Something out of the ordinary. Deadlynoiz just delivered “Next Level”, and I would say… I’m impressed from the first bars.
This explosive dubstep tune begins with a long, eerie background horn that gives the vibe of being in the middle of the ocean, in a boat, before the storm… which is this crazy dubstep drop. Brutal growls, a melodic pattern that hits simply and hard, without wasting time with too many elements or variations. A real explosion of energy that charged me and made me feel alive and full of energy!
The second breakdown continues working on the horn, this time with a slight hardstyle vibe, adding a lead and some drums to build additional energy. I was curious to hear what Deadlynoiz was cooking for the finale, and I was intrigued. The final part is slightly less impactful than the first, probably because of the lack of the surprise effect, but it introduces a short segment with more melodic variations, ending abruptly with the infamous horn. I liked it, but I felt that it was missing a final twist.
Overall, being “Next Level” the second independent release of Deadlynoiz, I can feel the creativity and the desire to innovate from this American producer. There is talent, there is eccentricity, and there is a horn that I will definitely not forget.
