The Bloody Beetroots release first track from upcoming 'Heavy' album: 'Wildchild' with Ephwurd
The Bloody Beetroots have combined forces with Ephwurd on a new single, “Wildchild,” from the brainchild of Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo’s forthcoming album, Heavy, set to be released June 14. The track begins with a heavy kick pattern below stark distorted electro guitar elements. Listeners ride the build into heavy electro bass mayhem with guitar interludes, a staple of the masked electronic-rock maven.
It’s the 10-year anniversary of The Bloody Beetroots’ behemoth “Warp” track with Steve Aoki, Rifo’s most streamed track on Spotify. The Bloody Beetroots’ last LP was released in 2017, The Great Electronic Swindle, which relied on electronic rock takes. Noticing the first heavier bass and more electronic-leaning single to come off an album called Heavy, it’s fair to speculate which way the Italian artist might be leaning.
