The Emerging DJ and Producer Kastra Releases His Debut Single “Fool For You”
Ray Decker, known as Kastra, kicked off his musical journey with his latest single: “Fool For You,” produced under the widely known label “Ultra Music.”
Despite this years’ hardships, Decker decided to push the envelope with his encyclopedic eclectic and genre-fusing technique.
“Fool For You” has a fine musical arrangement that starts low and eventually morphs into something great. The track features catchy and uplifting background beats.
Kasta said in an exclusive interview with VENTS Magazine that the global pandemic inspired him to work on “Fool For You.”
“I wanted to try something different. During the pandemic everyone was feeling very isolated, myself included. I think the songs I created during that period really reflect how I was feeling. It’s a lot more delicate and introspective which is how the world felt to me at the time. I didn’t want to make club music because the clubs weren’t open, and no one felt like partying,” he said.
Kastra has worked with various reputable artists like Ava Max on the “My Head & My Heart” remix and “Wassup” next to Timmy Trumpet.
The New-Jersey based artist has received support from big names like Martin Garrix and David Guetta. He has also worked with well-respected labels such as Armada, Musical Freedom, and Dim Mak.
