Billy Kenny has, well, an interesting reputation. The Leeds born producer and This Ain’t Bristol honcho is one of those blokes who has exceeded musical talent with a legacy spawned from just simply being the life of the party.

With his new Billy Kenny & Friends 2 EP currently soaking up our attention following it’s release this month, our party boy correspondent got in touch with the collaborators in the project, to get a little personal about Billy, with confessions of their loose experiences with the man himself.

The first night I met Billy, it started off with who could out party the other. During Billy’s set I pulled down my pants on the dance floor (as you do). For some unknown reason, I was wearing pyjama shorts underneath that night so I didn’t get kicked out lol.

While drunk, I went up to Billy and pulled his pants down behind the DJ booth. He looked at me as if to say, ‘we only just met’, but at the same time his eyes screamed of acceptance and comfort (this is where we fell in love).

A few hours later we had to check out of the hotel and he stayed on the Gold Coast with me for the next few days. We strolled on the beach, ate delicious food, swapped spit a few times, you know, the usual and ever since then we have been lovers/brothers/whatever.

Every collab we do seems to be its own thing and i believe thats a product of true love.

One of the first times I met Billy (full disclosure I do not recall all the details of that night) it felt really easy and natural to bond and next thing you know we’re in the studio together working on a beat. And the best thing was that the easy and natural feel transposed to the studio so we busted out a track in no time!”

We were hanging out with some friends on a beach in Fiji, when someone suggested he try on this OWSLA one-piece bathing suit. Billy fully supported the idea and immediately began removing all of his clothes (covering his man-bits with one hand, no fucks given). He then proceeds to flaunt his new fit around the beach, while all of the videographers capture the hilarious moment. Plot twist: His balls did not even remotely fit inside the one-piece.

I think the funniest thing which comes in my mind its when I spent a bit of time with Billy on Fiji Island and at some point he watch me and say: in fact you’re a really nice guy, I always thought you were a bit pretentious etc because of your image on social media, gangsta stuff and never smiling lol

We were in San Diego at CRSSD festival and I was walking from one stage to the next and immediately recognised him (who cant with that beautiful head of hair) and ran up to him, jumped on his back and we were instantly mates!!

There you have it. It looks like Billy has certainly left an imprint on everyone he crosses paths with. Listen to his new EP featuring all of the above artists below and warm up this chilly Monday vibe.
