UK outfit started out like many DJs have in the past producing underground house for his home country’s club circuit. It wasn’t until he found his name side-by-side with Australian indie-electronic maven, Chet Faker, for a full-fledged EP, Work.
The EP catapulted Marr into a new league dance artists, and with the ability to produce a multitude styles, the UK melody-bender steps up the plate for The Radar’s 64th episode for what he calls “The New Moon Mix” in celebration New York City’s Full Moon Fest on August 20 & 21.
The first two tracks to introduce the mix boast a funk-ridden temperament akin to those heard in Marr’s work with Chet Faker. Once entrenched in the hour-long piece, however, Marr’s experimental and underground tones rise to the surface.
