The Urban DJ Carlos Sanchez Has Passed Away

It is with a heavy heart we announce the death of the NewYork based DJ and producer, Carlos Sanchez. Until this date, there is no official statement clarifying the cause of death, however, back in 2018, Carlos had been struggling with kidney problems. His fellow friends and fans have set up fundraising to support the artist with his bills.
Following the tragic news of his death, fans poured social media platforms with tributes to honor the passing of Carlos, who had been on the scene for over 40 years.
“Gonna miss you. A beloved figure in our scene I was lucky to have gotten to know over the years. R.I.P. Carlos Sanchez. This is devastating news, the NY house family is hurting,” wrote DJ Sal Paradise.
Another producer from NYC has also described Carlos’s uplifting aura whenever he goes.
The NewYork based Lot Radio has hosted a show to honor the passing of the DJ and producer. The show took place on March 28th and was hosted by Musclecars.


Besides his producing career, he was also involved in academia, as he was a music professor at Pace University.
Our heart goes out with the family and the friends of the late Carlos.
