'This is Night Bass Vol. 9' lands, chock full of club-ready house

Those unfamiliar with Night Bass: it’s time to get acquainted. The ever-prolific label is back with another compilation to its This is Night Bass series. The ninth installment keeps the signature dark house flavor flowing throughout, ensuring these tracks will work their way into club sets everywhere. On this edition, Riddim Commission opens the commotion with a Fugees sample, Bijou “Shines” with Dread MC, and Codes keeps things “So Damn Funky,” among many other tunes.

If this compilation still isn’t enough Night Bass, GRiZ makes his debut on the label Feb. 7 with his upcoming single “Could U.” Head man AC Slater heads out on his Hi8 tour across North America as well, beginning a week later in Portland, Oregon.
