Tiësto harnesses Becky Hill's vocals for 'Nothing Really Matters' [Stream]
Collaborations are a dime a dozen these days, so it’s always welcome when two seasoned veterans of dance music come together. Two such veterans are Tiësto and Becky Hill, and after their collective years in the genre, there was no way their new track, “Nothing Really Matters,” would be anything less than soul-shaking.
Since she made waves with her vocal additions to Oliver Helden’s “Gecko (Overdrive),” Becky Hill has become one dance music’s go-to singers. Over the last few years, she’s worked on music with MK, Rudimental, Matoma, on top of her own seasoned solo catalog.
Now she can add Tiësto to her Rolodex, and with an excellent track attached. “Nothing Really Matters” invokes the same classic energy as most piano house, except the consistent chords don’t dominate the soundscape. Tiësto is a master of working with vocalists, and he created the ideal backdrop for Hill to thrive.
