Tomorrowland 2021 Might Be Postponed Due To COVID… AGAIN!
With the global pandemic, nothing is really going as planned. One of the biggest EDM festivals that unites all the ravers in Belgium will most likely be postponed.
Every year the festival takes place in the last two weeks of July, but with the current situation, there are talks of postponing it till August or even the beginning of September.
The Belgian national Newspaper mentioned that it might take place between August 27 and September 3, however, there are still no official dates.
The festival’s spokesperson Debby Wilmsen stated, “A shift of the date is possible a different interpretation of the festival is also possible, with more or fewer stages or acts.” She also said that they are in talks with government officials, corona commissioners, suppliers, hotels, and partners about the situation and the possibility of holding the event this year.
Tomorrowland started in 2005, and it expanded year after year. In 2019 the festival had more than 400,000 attendees, seven times larger than the population of Greenland.
