Tomorrowland enlists 60-piece 'Symphony Of Unity' to open 2019 festival
One simply cannot have a 15th anniversary celebration without a little pomp and circumstance—especially if the anniversary in question happens to be Tomorrowland‘s. The Belgian institution has grown to be the biggest dance music festival in the world, with hundreds of thousands of fans gathering in its home of Boom each year to immerse themselves in the 15+ stage, fairy tale-esque experience. It continues to sell out in minutes, even with the addition of a second weekend.
On July 21 & 28, the festival will be celebrating its milestone birthday alongside the 60-piece Metropole Orchestra Academy. The symphonic affair, dubbed “Symphony Of Unity,” will see the orchestra cover a myriad of Tomorrowland anthems over the years across a one-hour performance. Conductor Dirk Brossé stated in a press release that the showing “will undoubtedly be a lifelong highlight.”
