ID&T have created an utter behemoth in its Tomorrowland festival, which has become the largest in the world and an eternal bucket list item for many since its inception in the early 2000s. Each year, it transforms the forest in Boom, Belgium into a fairytale city, with stages that host every corner of dance music, amenities that make for a convenient festival experience, and unmatched production in both decoration and stage design.
The festival expanded to two weekends in 2017, but the expansion still fails to meet the high demand Tomorrowland. With this in mind, they announced in March that it would be taking over Alpe d’Huez, in the French Alps, for the first-ever Tomorrowland Winter. Organizers have yet to announce the bill, but have thrown anxious followers another crumb: a preview video. If it’s as majestic as the video makes it out to be, revelers are in for quite the winter wonderland come March 9-16. Registry is open here for tickets, which go on sale on September 8.
