Pete Tong has joined forces with afro house innovator MoBlack, Italian producer Max Zotti, and acclaimed German vocalist Monolink to release a new cover of Cigarettes After Sex’s hit ‘Apocalypse’. Out now on Berlin’s Embassy One, the collaboration transforms the 2017 original into a blend of electronic rhythm and emotive vocals.

Produced by Tong, Zotti, and MoBlack, the instrumental channels a deep, atmospheric groove. Monolink’s signature vocal delivery adds an ethereal edge, preserving the haunting mood of the original while elevating its club potential.

The original track by Cigarettes After Sex has amassed over 1.3 billion streams on Spotify and earned platinum certifications in the US, UK, France, Portugal, and Spain, and gold in Denmark and Italy. This new version pays tribute to its legacy while offering a fresh reinterpretation for electronic music audiences.
