Trap and bass night The Wall finds a new, bigger and louder home

The Wall has been a Sydney institution for bass and trap sounds with the Wednesday night offering a place for new and established artists panning back some 10 plus years – one of the few lasting and successful names to do it!
Over the years The Wall has hosted everyone under the sun including locals ‘What So Not, Alison Wonderland, Slumberjack, Enschway and Luude’ as well as ‘international heavyweights like Downlink, HABSTRAKT, ATLiens, Stööki Sound, Mr Carmack and Sigma’. Again, no small feat for a mid-week party with humble beginnings.
Up until recently The Wall has and was firmly to be found at The World Bar in the once notorious nightlife spot of Kings Cross but like all good things has come to an end… sorta.
With sad end of The World Bar name (now Cali Club) it seemed like The Walls Wednesday night should make the leap elsewhere and continue it’s space for bass and trap sounds.
The good news is they’ve found one with Home The Venue opening their big ass club to promoters Thomas and Billy who said they’re putting everything into this one;
“Our number one goal is to throw an ecstatic, fun, inclusive party every single week,” Chom explains. “We want to make sure we remain a key platform for upcoming local DJs and producers as well – that’s what it’s all about at the end of the day.”
Adding to the good news is they’ve just launched the first event which will bring in the ‘New Era’ with the The Wall-stars come April 10th that’ll feature a bass room and Hip-Hop / RnB Room.
With an incredible new home over-looking Darling Harbour and a bigger, beefier sound we’re expecting The Wall to keep on doing good things for Sydney!
