In ‘shocking’ news today, it looks as though Aussie and Kiwi cocaine users are paying way more than the rest of the world. Surprised? Probably not, as it all funnels down to border control.

As reported by Nine.com.au, The Global Drug Survey 2018 found that Aussies on average spend $309.94 for a gram of devil’s dandruff, while New Zealandes are paying roughly 30 dollars more. The report also found the cheapest packet going around, which is around $8.57 in – you guessed it – Colombia. We’ve all seen Narcos, this is no real shock, right?

According to the report, “Prices vary widely across the world from less than €10 per gram ($15.88) in South America, to an average of €60-80 per gram in Europe to €200 per gram in Australian and New Zealand.”

It “In recent years, the purity of cocaine in Europe has increased, with 60 to 70 percent purity commonly seen in street level deals.”
