Tycho and Saint Sinner release enamoring 'Easy'
Tycho shows his ‘human side’ for new single from forthcoming LP, ‘Easy’
Tycho merges an expansive set of sounds, instrumentals, and electronic notes in newest release with Saint Sinner titled “Easy.”
Like a wondrously winding staircase of sound, “Easy” could be played 20 times over and disclose formerly undiscovered elements with every listen. The song opens to thrumming, upright bass and a kicking drum line. Ethereal vocals then set a chilling mood through bouncing soprano notes.
“Music can transport us to other realities but can also ground us firmly within ourselves,” says Scott Hansen, Tycho’s composer, songwriter, and producer in an official release. “After a trilogy of records spent exploring the outer reaches of experience, I am focusing inward to reveal a human side to the music.”
“Easy” is the first release from the San Francisco-based collective’s forthcoming LP, which is currently untitled. This will be Tycho’s fifth full-length compilation, and first to be released Mom + Pop and Ninja Tune.
