Viewers Thought Shaggy Was Jim Jones During the Grammys

Viewers did a double take during Shaggy and Sting’s performance "Don't Make Me Wait” at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Jan. 28).

Many fans thought Shaggy was actually Dipset member Jim Jones. Seriously.

After rubbing their eyes, they realized it was the reggae superstar performing with the 16-time Grammy-winning rocker. But it didn’t stop stop fans from posting conspiracy theories and jokes on Twitter.

"Has anyone ever seen Shaggy and Jim Jones in the same place? Seriously asking," tweeted Bakari Sellers. Another person joked, "Jim Jones got a ill Jamaican accent tonight."
