WMG, the third-largest recording label and home to the top artists of the century including Cardi B, Ed Sheeran, and Bruno Mars. The record label has recently purchased the very famous David Guetta’s music catalogue, adding it to its already large database.

Guetta, who has over 14 billion streams, released a statement saying:

“I’m super excited about the new music I’m working on … This is the right time to renew my creative partnership with my trusted team at Warner Music.”

Sources said that many people were interested in buying his catalogue, but he decided to sell it to WMG.

Neither Guetta nor WMG has released details about the financial aspects, yet Financial Times estimated the deal to be over $100 million.
