DJ and producer Richie Hawtin made a triumphant return to Sónar Barcelona with his innovative new show, ‘DEX EFX X0X’. The complete set is now available on the Arte Concert YouTube channel.

‘DEX EFX X0X’ exemplifies Hawtin’s dedication to bringing authentic techno to the forefront, echoing the genre’s origins in shadowy, strobe-lit dance floors where the DJ was often obscured. The performance offers an immersive experience filled with dynamic lights, shadows, and flashes, featuring tracks played in real-time. True to the Canadian artist’s style, this show is entirely live and spontaneous, unfolding in an organic and captivating manner.

Hawtin extended his heartfelt thanks to his team for their role in creating this audiovisual experience and expressed his appreciation to ARTE for their support in bringing the concept to a broader audience.
