Watch Vera Blue's acoustic rendition of Flume's 'Rushing Back'

2019 has been the year of comebacks and especially so for Flume, whose surprise delivery of mixtape Hi, This is Flume breathed fresh familiarity onto the electronic scene. After nearly three years since his sophomore LP Skin, the Grammy-winning producer has stopped at nothing to catalyze his return with marked artistic growth in the form of new releases, a forthcoming European tour, and astounding live performances. His iconic Skin single, “Never Be Like You” featuring Kai recently joined the 1 billion stream club in a momentous benchmark achievement. Now, Flume shares fellow Aussie-collaborator Vera Blue‘s live rendition of their track, “Rushing Back.”

In the video clip, Blue gives a stripped-down acoustic performance of the track alongside minimal piano accompaniment. The pair released “Rushing Back” in September, after Blue provided vocal features on Flume’s 2016 track, “My Boo.” Blue also performed a captivating live performance of the track at Flume’s Red Rocks show.
