Wehbba, has launched HIFN, a multi-art platform based in Sao Paulo. This project aims to blend music and literature, drawing inspiration from the Brazilian’s artist love for various art forms. It seeks to encourage creative freedom through innovative techniques in composition, writing, and performance.
The launch of HIFN coincides with the release of ‘Nitro’, inspired by his solitary touring lifestyle and the shifting music industry. Wehbba shares, “I felt compelled to capture my current tastes and vibes in real-time. So, immediately after my gigs, I would delve into developing ideas on my trusty laptop.”
The first track, ‘Nitro,’ symbolizes the rapid pace of change, both in the techno genre and the world at large. Wehbba explains, “With ‘Nitro’, I integrated glitch elements within its arrangement. These reflect the chaos of when everything is moving so fast.”
The second track, ‘Frozen,’ features the poignant lyric, “Sometimes it feels like we’re all frozen,” set against a haunting and melancholic melody. This track embodies the challenge of progressing during periods of stagnation or turmoil.
The final track, ‘Nitro Wordscape,’ fuses elements from both ‘Nitro’ and ‘Frozen.’ It incorporates a poem recited by AI trained to mimic Wehbba’s voice.
