Whethan returns with stellar 'Pumped Up Kicks' spin – EDM All Day

Whethan‘s officially released his remix of Foster The People‘s wildly successful “Pumped Up Kicks,” an original that’s amassed close to three quarters of a billion views on Spotify.

With a sharp kick, the young producer captures the infectious whistling melody with a house-pop percussion for a festival friendly version of the ubiquitous fan-favorite track. A house rendition of the classic smasher resuscitates the original from the vault for a breath of fresh air.

The 20-year-old artist, originally hailing from Chicago, released the track through Trap Nation, after complications from releasing the major label-owned track according to his Twitter. The remix is his first project after a bout with mental and physical illness that lead to cancelling dates in Australia and the United States.

This year, he’s released tracks alongside Jeremih, The Knocks, Louis The Child, and more.
