Wuki & Dave Summer Join Forces for “Smoke”
Grammy nominated producer and DJ, Wuki (aka Kris Barman) has quickly cemented a global fan base with his ability to blend multiple genres and seamlessly mix booty breaks, electro, and house into hard-hitting club shakers. Now in a collaborative triumph Wuki and Canadian artist Dave Summer have joined their talents for the new track “Smoke”.
“I started this idea almost a year ago with the intention of making it a more tech house track. When I started fleshing it out, it felt better as a more techno-driven song. Another fun fact is that the vocal is me and redone with AI, then Dave Summer helped me finish it.” – Wuki
“Wuki reached out to me after we hung out at his show in Montreal last summer with the original idea for ‘Smoke’. Then we went back and forth on the project – it was actually a pretty fast process since we both had the same vision for the song. We wanted a high energy groovy techno vibe on it with different drops that can bring the energy in both clubs and festivals.” – Dave Summer
Having worked together for the first time on this cut, the two artists are coming through with a high-energy groovy techno-driven anthem that can bring the energy in both clubs and festivals. “Smoke” builds tension and anticipation in equal parts with a big finale on top of it all, a vibe-heavy tool needed for every set. The track has already received early support from industry heavy-hitters like Adam Beyer and Oliver Heldens. “Smoke” is out now on all mayor streaming platforms.
