Vibe with Kidnap: producer crafts exclusive playlist ahead of Splash House 2019

Palm Springs will soon turn into a SoCal sonic playground as Splash House descends upon the Californian desert haven for the first of two 2019 installments this summer. The intimate poolside affair will offer attendees sets from a myriad of electronic artists, ranging from Jai Wolf to Shiba San, and the curator of an exclusive pre-Splash House playlist, Kidnap.

“Presenting a selection of my current favourites to get you warmed up for Splash House! See you 11pm at the Air Museum,” says Kidnap.

Boasting a cerebral catalog of original productions, Kidnap kicks off his Road to Splash House playlist with the first single to gain a release from his forthcoming debut album, “Grow.” “Grow” gently gives way to the electronic euphoria that characterizes Kidnap’s 2018 standalone, “Ursa Minor.” The seamless ease with which one inclusion fades into the next evinces Kidnap’s acute ear for mixing. Kidnap shuffles between showings from ATTLAS, Durante, Bruce Loko, and more, choosing tunes that collectively comprise an easy flowing, down-tempo Splash House prelude.
