The Up & Up Virtual Festival Took Place On Three Days In A Row
The first-ever virtual spring festival took place between March 10 and 13, with over 50 students from colleges and universities competing with each other.
The Up & Up Festival Co-founder, Steven Ferraro, commented:
“We’re excited to continue our tradition of bringing unique and meaningful experiences to college students.”
He added: “Since it debuted in 2016, the Monster Energy Up & Up Festival brand continues to grow — even through these times — largely in part to our passionate community of student ambassadors.”
Although there was an enormous number of participants, only eight schools will achieve victory with a life-time chance of producing a sole festive featuring one of the headliners: Subtronics, Oliver Heldens, Tchami, or Kaskade.
Once the name of the 10 finalists is revealed, the public will have the chance of voting for the grand prize winner using Yappa (for more details, click here). The grand prize is part of the $10K Talent Showdown which is exclusively dedicated to talented college students.
All those who wanted to participate should have had their videos posted on TikTok or their website using the hashtag dedicated to the event: #10KTalentShowdown.
Monster Energy Up & Up has also established its virtual college called Club 100, which hosts monthly events including performances, guest speakers, giveaways, meet and greets with artists, to name a few.
